General Statement of Privacy Policy:
The Healthy Butcher is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal life and the details of your personal shopping behavior. While the nature of our relationship requires that we acquire certain details of your personal life, under no circumstances will any of that individually identifiable information knowingly be made available to anyone outside of our organization, except to process payment. Even within our company, only those people that require your personal information in order to complete your transaction will have access to that information.

In an effort to constantly improve your shopping experience and the types of products and services that we offer, there may be times when we seek your permission to collect more information than that specific to fulfilling your grocery order. We commit to informing you of the rationale behind collecting the information, and seek your consent to do so, whether implied or formally.

Over the course of our relationship, information will be created that was not intended but merely resulted from the regularity of transactions. We are committed to honest and open communication and will make your personal information available to you upon request.

Your name will not find its way onto any mass circulation databases and there will not be any new forms of "junk mail" in your mailbox because of your involvement with The Healthy Butcher.

If you choose to subscribe to our free monthly newsletter, we will only require entry of your name and email address, the bare minimum required for management of such an email list.  The information is used only for the purposes of managing our monthly newsletter, and we will not sell or trade your personal information.

Your personal information will remain current and accurate for as long as it is required to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer of The Healthy Butcher. We will take all necessary and reasonable measures to safeguard that information from any unauthorized access.

While our entire company understands and respects your personal privacy, our Secretary is specifically responsible for ensuring your personal information remains confidential.

Consumer access to their personal information:
We are committed to keeping you informed. At your request we will provide you with the personal information that we have, what it is being used for, and to whom it has been disclosed. In some limited cases, we may be unable to access or provide some specific information. We will provide reasonable rationale for any inability to release information.

Ultimately, if you are unhappy with our privacy policy or the service as a whole you can discontinue the service at any time and request that your personal information be removed.
