Join Team Healthy Butcher team for the only opportunity to
cycle or in-line skate on Toronto’s major artery, the Don Valley Parkway, and
help raise funds for life-saving heart and stroke research. Choose a route of
25, 50 or 75 km. In-line skating is also available on the Gardiner Expressway
with distances of 5, 10 or 20 km. There are great incentive prizes, depending on

Almost 40% of Canadians will develop some form of heart disease or stroke over
their lifetime. With our aging population, it is critical to understand the
underlying causes of these diseases. The Heart and Stoke Foundation is a leading
funder of heart disease and stroke research in Canada with hundreds of hospital
and university-based research teams depending on them year after year. They need
our help to find answers. For life.
To register as part of Team Healthy Butcher and to help raise funds for
life-saving heart and stroke research please follow the next steps:

Visit:
http://www.heartandstroke.ca/rideforheart, and click on Toronto;

Click on Register;

Enter a username and password at the bottom of the page
(if you have one from last year otherwise create one for yourself)

You are now on your "My Profile" page. Update
your personal information and click continue;

You will now be on the "Participant Type" page -
choose GROUP MEMBER, then on the next page highlight TEAM HEALTHY
BUTCHER from the drop down menu then click continue;

On this page, you will be prompted to pay the
registration fee by credit card.

Read and accept the waiver.
Once registered, you will be on your "Personal Profile"
page. This page allows you to raise pledges, send emails to your friends/family,
and view pledges to date. You are welcome to download a copy of the pledge form
from the website at:
Pledge Sheet. All pledges either online or paper must be submitted by
event day, Sunday 4 June 2006, to ensure you will receive your incentive prize.
